FEATURED ARTIST

This show is a mini segment of Pittsburgh Artist, Curtis Reaves, illustrating his select photographic works featuring,

'People & Found Objects from the past 25 years."

Curtis is a Video Artist & Photographer, whose work has been shown both locally & nationally at some of the most prestigious museums across the country.

Curtis is best known for his traveling exhibition, John & Sarah - A Family's Journey to Freedom and Elders - An African American Oral History.

Some of his other accomplishments include: Being chosen as a Millennium Artist for the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, receiving various Artists & Residencies and conducting Community & Educational Workshops.

 

Regarding this particular show, Curtis states that, "For me, 'Image Interlude: Episode in Time,' is about the Exploration & Manipulation of Imagery. It's all about the Rhythm, the POP and the Interlude of the Composition."

We are more than excited to show yet another Pittsburgh talent, Michelle Maroni. MIchelle specializes in Encaustic and Fiber art which will be for sale on this fine evening of Gallery Crawl. Michelle's is also an art teacher in Washington County. MIchelle is more than happy to have you handle her work and wants you to know that all of it is for sale in cash or checks.
