The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is an incredible and valuable organization that keeps this city rolling continuously and creatively in the arts development . Salon Christine is graciously located in the center of all of this gorgeous art. Salon Christine is featuring the following, for this July 16th Gallery Crawl. Image Interlude: Episode in Time, Vol. 1

FEATURED ARTIST

This show is a mini segment of Pittsburgh Artist, Curtis Reaves, illustrating his select photographic works featuring,

'People & Found Objects from the past 25 years."

Curtis is a Video Artist & Photographer, whose work has been shown both locally & nationally at some of the most prestigious museums across the country.

Curtis is best known for his traveling exhibition, John & Sarah - A Family's Journey to Freedom and Elders - An African American Oral History.

Some of his other accomplishments include: Being chosen as a Millennium Artist for the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, receiving various Artists & Residencies and conducting Community & Educational Workshops.

Regarding this particular show, Curtis states that, "For me, 'Image Interlude: Episode in Time,' is about the Exploration & Manipulation of Imagery. It's all about the Rhythm, the POP and the Interlude of the Composition."
